baby it's warm outside
omgosh so look at the last entry i wrote... i believe it was on august 17th and i was like, "oh, i haven't written in here in 2 months! omgosh blah blah blah" and then i didn't write again for about ever. isn't it funny how i work? that's how i've always been though. like i must have had like 20 diaries when i was younger, and they always said something to the effect of "oh diary, i am so excited to write in you every day this year! [that was usually my new year's resolution] see you tomorrow!" ...and then the rest of it was blank. lol if i was lucky it'd have about 10 pages filled up, but that'd be over a 6-month time span. lol
well, i don't have nearly as much to write about this time.

that girl that i told you i was hiring to be my aide - (well, i didn't hire her! her pay check doesn't come from MY bank account!) - she worked out really well. we get along swell. and she does the job well.

i really don't have much to say. haley came up this past weekend. that was a lot of fun. i saw her for two days in october when i went over to g'ville, but other than we hadn't hung since the cruise! that is like an eternity for us! so it was a well-needed visit. it flew by though. it was almost 3 days, but it felt like 3 hours.
hm... what else... i think i've become a caffiene adict. lol nah, not really. but i have been drinking a hella lot of coffee. i got to barnes n' noble like, atleast every other day, yet i hardly ever venture beyond the cafe. i like it though. tonight i got a white chocolate mocha. Mmm... i love it. starbuck's is the best at christmas time. between peppermint mocha and peppermint hot chocolate, what else could one ever ask for?! honestly.
this girl that sometimes babysits us brought her iguana over last week. it was gross. like, she lives far away but she drove up just to watch us, so it wasn't like she could just take it home. so it had to live with us for 3 days. it made me cry. no, i kid you not. i came home and she was already here and it was on the couch. i was like, mommy don't leave me with that thing for 3 days! and then i cried. lol
2 days till christmas! how bout that? i'm psyched! i am all done with my shopping (thank goodness). oh! i am getting an iPod Mini! it's pink! it's so cute! i can't wait till i have it to hold in my hand forever and ever. lol and it has my name engraved on the back: "Alexandra Landis" isn't it pretty? oh, and i got my nails done red. red. it's crazy. i branched out from my typical french manicure. i was feeling wild when i did it. in fact, i still feel a little wild when i look at them. lol i call it "I'm not really a hooker red." ("OPI Red" wass too boring.)
ok, well i am done for now. "i promise to write tomorrow!!" ;)
