"Who are you? Little girls shouldn't be out alone this late at night." His voice echoed even without walls near enough to carry the sound. Six feet of fanged, black-clad fury couldn't manage to make the words sound like anything less than a threat.
"Well, um, I'm myself," she said, shuffling her feet. "And you're you, and my brother said you're crazy and I said you couldn't be because you're one of his so he said I could try to fix you if I wanted to. So I came here and I found you and then you asked me who I was, and I told you."
Venom looked at her, confused. "Fix us? How could you fix us?" The girl was strange, but not a threat to him.
She smiled. "All I have to do it make it so that you're not so angry anymore, and then maybe you can sing with me, like this: 'tra la la', and I can tell my brother that he was wrong."
Venom's agility was almost unmatched, but he couldn't avoid the brush of her fingers. She tried to change him inside, tried to turn the anger into joy.
The symbiote only disappeared into the shadows.
She sighed. "My brother was right. You were one of mine all along. Two of mine, really."
The girl vanished in a puff of rainbow-tinted smoke and butterflies.
