Good Morning, Surguaro (i can't spell)
Good morning, prickly pear. Good morning ocotillo. (Why are cactus names so hard to spell.) Good morning Lily. (By the way has she read Good Night Moon? It's a classic for chn) Happy Birthday JR and congrats to AJ on his promotion and the extra money. (A bed is on the horizon for him.) Long time to writie.
But it's a great day in the desert. Suppose to be hot (109ish, I think) And my braille's all caught up. My students are wonderful and smart and funny and hard-working. Life's great.
JR and I went for a ride in the beamer on Labor Day evering with the top down. The stars were a show. We drove up the windy road to Suguaro Lake.
Pop's out of the hospital and into rehab in the same nursing home as MaMaw Bettye. He's in good spirits considering. He hasn't asked for much from the house, yet.
Looking forward to work so I better get to it.
