this past week was amazing. maybe one of my best birthdays in recent memory.
taylor came in town wednesday night and i tried my best to show her everything and anything i love about my life up here. we went all over portland. i showed her mountians, seattle, olympia, the san jaun islands, the puget sound and all the amazing food and drink.
going to whidbey island for my birthday was indescribable. it made the idea that i am getting married- not only that but having a wedding so so real. the island is so amazingly perfect.
miles of sandy beaches, orca whales, bald eagles, and the view... not only do you see the sound, but in the distant background instead of the horizon, it was the snow capped olympic mountains.
i brought taylor and lizen brought nichollette so we both had our maids of honor, which made the whole thing that much more exciting.
saturday we had dinner with lizen's aunt and uncle who couldn't be nicer people. and they are very excited about hosting the event. aunt harriet already started to talking to me about what flowers she should plant so the house is at its best.
its just all so crazy.
but now here i am back at work. brought taylor to the airport this morning. work is gonna be nutty again for a few weeks. but i am gonna try to sneak away this weekend to go to julie's saved by the bell party and taking a beading class at the reservation with lizen.
