[There's a crackling noise, and the video feed flickers over Al's worried face, mostly because he seems to realize his brother won't recognize him.]

[Ed notices that some sort of video thing pops up and he sees Alphonse's face but he thinks that this Al is way too old to be his brother.]

[Al heaves a sigh, runs a hand back through his hair, which is indeed blonde.]

Yeah, that's what Ginia and a couple of the others are starting to call me. I keep telling them to just call me Al, though...

[Ed gives the video a blank stare almost, and he looks like he's trying to match similarities to his Brother and 'Mister Alphonse' but he seems hesitant too]

Maybe I should start at the beginning. See, there were some scientists, and they tried to control time and space itself, and they screwed up. So now, everyone is getting pulled to this place. It's called Adstringendum. Apparently, now and again the powers of this place like to play with reality a bit.

So now I'm ten years older than I should be, and you're... it's hard to tell from here, but you're like seven or eight years younger.
