Bouncing a balled up sock against the ceiling that hovered above him as he was sprawled out on his bed had grown old about thirty seconds after he had turned to the pointless acitivity for entertainment. But nearly a half hour into it, Braeden had yet to come up with something more interesting that didn't involve him coming out of his room and ( Read more... )

I like company.

Depending on the company's mood.

And what the company wants to do.

I'm going to stop referring to you as company now, because it's making me too confused for my own good.

Would you want to come over? Or I could come over? Or we could go some where?

Or we could be awesome and do all three?

Totally up to you.

OOC- what's the deal? our characters friends, lovely?

How about two of the three? I come over, then we go somewhere else? Because my house sucks there's not much of a point in going everwhere.

ooc: Is it possible? Could it really be happening? Are we actually gonna get an excuse to RP?! XD

So in other words, you want as far away from your house as possible?

You're on. Be here in... whenever. I'm ready.

OOC- oh no! i think i just might dislike your character by default so that our interacting won't make the comm blow up. O.o

i'm all excited now, haha.

Yeah, pretty much. Heh.

On my way. Five minutes.

*SWITCHO*

Almost exactly five minutes after sending his reply to Tracey, Braeden Apparated at her front door and knocked, rocking back and forth on the balls of his feet.

ooc: Yaaaay to being in two places at once! Though this probably isn't doing much good for the whole keep-the-comm-from-exploding thing O.o

Tracey never really used the front door, so when a house elf told her a boy was standing on the front steps, it took her a few minutes to actually get to the door.

She let him in with a bright smile, apologizing for how long it took.

"Next time, just apparate right into the house, yeah? We don't do doors here."

"Well, excuse my manners, then," he laughed, stepping inside and closing the door behind him.

"So, how've you been?"

"I've been brilliant- have two new house mates, have been to a few parties, have been sleeping until all hours of the day... and now you're here. Couldn't be better!"

Tracey flashed a big cheesy grin at him before she started wandering to no where. It was better to move when someone was around, otherwise she'd babble... and babbling wasn't really a good thing.

"So what do you want to do?"

"Wha- parties? And where have I been?" he asked almost indignantly, following Tracey on her path to wherever.

He shook his head, letting out another short laugh. "I'm up for anything, as long as it doesn't involve throwing stuff at the ceiling or babbling two-year-olds. Other than that, I'm not picky."

"You've obviously been on the moon or something. Merlin, you're so behind- poor thing," Tracey teased, leading him out into the backyard. There was an inground pool there and gardens.

This was as good as any other place to be bored in. Better than any other place, actually.

"Well, there are no two-year-olds here and I don't think the house mates will like us throwing things... so how about swimming?"

"Well apparently no one was thoughtful enough to tell me about anything," he said, sticking his bottom lip out in an exaggerated pout.

He looked around as they stepped outside, resisting the urge to let out an impressed whistle at the sight of the gardens. "Swimming sounds good," he answered with a smile.

"Did you even bring anything to swim in?" Tracey asked, looking him over for the first time. No... it didn't look like he did.

"And I promise to tell you about the next party- which should be Draco's, so you best be there."

"Do you normally travel around with a bathing suit in your pocket?" he asked her pointedly.

"And don't worry, that one I've heard about. Definitely planning to attend, thank you very much."

"Well, no. But sometimes I wear my suit under my clothes- just in case," Tracey said, frowning in a playful sort of way as she inched closer to the pool.

"So do you want a... pair of shorts?"

"Well excuse me for not being prepared. Clearly you outdo me in this category," he said with a teasing grin.

"I'm hoping you've got some guy clothes hidden somewhere, because I doubt I'd fit into a pair of yours." He paused, seeming to consider it for a moment. "I admit it'd probably be funny to see me try, though."

ooc: WTF THREADS WHY ARE YOU MIRRORING EACH OTHER?! XD
