The duck's name is Boris
I'm going to post!
I'm glad I get to do it in a good mood. I've been in a bad mood for two days now, but today changed, so yay!! I think it was the pressure but now I'm pretty much done til after break.
So yeah...been more than a month since my last real post (even the last fake post was after a month of nothing)
So...way to much to try to get everyone caught up, so I'll just write some random junk.
Today made me happy because:
a) i didn't have any real work for class
b) we had discussion so my eyes didn't fall out from the boredom!
c) I got professors to sign up for our academic/resident intergration hall program! (6 of them!! WooHoo!)
d) I started volunteering with Migrant Head Start! The lady in charge seemed strange at first, but I think she figured out that I really want to help, so when I offered to come back in the morning tomorrow, she was happy and said "te necesito" (Means I did a good job and she wants me to come back and help more!)
Plus she said she'll let me play with the kids too! Didn't get to today :( but I will soon!! :)
e) I got food for the ride down to Florida!!!!!
f) I talked to a kid in line at Target. He was in a cart and he had a duck that he was quacking for...so I started to talk to him and make funny noises...he laughed and so did his mom...btw the duck's name ws boris...great name for a two year old to name a duck!
g) I'm going to find out where I'm living next year (that may turn out to be bad, but I hope not)
h) I only have to live through two more classes before I get to go to FLORIDA!!!!!!
