(no subject)
weekend recap:
friday i played ultimate and went to class for a little bit, then we had our swim team bbq. it was exclusively for the swim team, and it was held at our house. went pretty well considering everyone was convinced it would be rained out. thankfully it only rained for about 5 minutes the whole time we had people over, so we lucked out hardcore. at about 9 or 9:30 our beer ran out so the party moved over to the guys' house. i decided not to join the party and go see Bill instead because i couldn't last another night without him (sorry for that corny romantic digression. won't happen again.) i got to his house at 11ish and we watched Hypercube and stayed up really late. we got a little bit of sleep and then came saturday.
saturday we went to borders to get my brother a birthday present, then to best buy, where bill bought a totally awesome digital camera. after that we went to the mall for a little bit to sit in the chairs at brookstone and buy chocolate. then we rented Godsend and watched it at my house. the movie was pretty scary, especially when James came home and snuck up behind me. i hate him (and his minty fresh breath)! :P dad made us a nice family dinner (minus james) and then we played scrabble, where i kicked everyone's ass. shortly after the family dinner/game festivities i had to head back to school, since i was being missed dearly by erin and amanda. back here we watched Moulin Rouge and fell asleep way early. good times.
sunday....today i did not accomplish much. i played some ultimate frisbee, finished some homework and went out to dinner with my family, since james was at an open house at TCNJ today. james played a little bit of ultimate with us and showed off so much that he dropped the frisbee a lot.
i think it was a pretty good weekend. unfortunately the next 4 or 5 weekends are going to be pretty insane. i would much rather have lazy weekends with nothing planned, but...such is life.
