Damn! I didn't expect that ending. You totally caught me off guard. Wow. I loved it. I love a surprise in a fic. And this is amazing.

Okay, so that blindsided me. *blinks* I really need to read the second half of this.

I love that Clark was humouring Bruce, though, and letting him 'materialize' out of shadows that Clark could have easily pierced if he chose.

I love that Clark was humouring Bruce, though, and letting him 'materialize' out of shadows that Clark could have easily pierced if he chose.

It's one of the many things I love about Clark. He can use all these powers he has but chooses not to at times out of consideration for others.

I am very happy that my talent for twists hasn't deserted me! ;)

Heh, I'm willing to bet Clark might have been surprised to discover he couldn't actually see Bruce in the shadows, if Bruce is a magical being now...
