So I've been seeing some of the ads for Partners, a new sitcom this fall about gay partners, and figured, ho, hum, the jokes will all be stereotypical or bad-raunchy (as in not funny!) so I doubted I'd check it out, but then I'm reading during a commercial and hear this wondrous voice and look up and say, "Hey! Isn't that Brandon Routh?" It is! So

Yeah, I saw some clips of this -- coming from the Numb3rs fandom following David Krumholtz -- and it looks fairly interesting. However, I probably won't watch it as it's hard for me to keep up with things like that.

It's probably a dreadful show...most sitcoms are...but I might give it a look the first few weeks. :)

I've been trying to keep track of developments on this one since I found out about it a few months ago. Gods, Brandon as gay? O_O My heart jumps and twirls a little just to think it. I'm so excited for this. ^______^

It appears he's in a committed relationship, whether married or not I don't know. He plays a nurse and looks scrumptious! I forget what network it's on (CBS or NBC) and I'll have to find out what day and time and debut, because I have the feeling it won't last long, LOL! Most sitcoms are so dreadfully written they come-and-go in the blink of an eye nowadays.

I'm really hoping this one lasts, b/c dammit, I need more Brandon in my life. But even if it fails, I still have David Giuntoli on Grimm, who could be Brandon's twin, they look and sound so similar. XD

I'll have to research what he's been up to since Superman Returns. I can't recall seeing him in much though msp_hacker named a few things.

I did read that he wanted a chance to play Superman again but of course he's associated with a box office disappointment so that wasn't likely. A pity, because I still think he could pull it off.

I'm watching for Brandon Routh. I have a feeling it's not going to be well recived, but I'll like it. Just like every other thing I've seen him in: Superman Returns, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and Dylan Dog Dead of Night.

That's the only reason I'm watching, baby! :) If they polled the viewers they might get a big surprise why people are watching.

I thought he did a fine job on Superman Returns. It was the script that I thought was weak. He was Clark and Superman but I suppose it's hard to follow Christopher Reeve. If Henry Cavill does half as well as Brandon, Man Of Steel should be a hit.

David Krumholtz, Sophia Bush and Brandon are enough of a draw to make me check it out. Just hoping it doesn't suck!

That's the $64,000 Question, isn't it? So many sitcoms are MAJORLY bad nowadays!
