A wonderful chapter! I like how you show the building tenions and how Bruce is slowly starting to realize just what a role Clark plays in his life. And Alfred. And I love Bruce reflecting that Clark knowing his secret wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Bruce is a smart guy, though admittedly dense when it comes to matters of the heart. :) I love writing him in this universe.

I really enjoyed this. I liked this part a lot:

Bruce blinked. Clark could be all those things…
I love that Bruce is thinking about this. He's really showing how much he cares. I can't wait for the next part. This is SO good!

The entire abolitionist convention arc was a lot of fun to write. I think my own convention experiences helped. :)

Also, it allowed me to show a little more progression on Bruce's part.

Would that be so bad? Bruce tapped his stylus on his notepad. For so long, it’s just been Alfred and me involved in the Mission…and outside of it, too.

LOL! Yes, I love the look of kohl around beautiful eyes, and Clark's would certainly qualify! :)

As for going around naked all the time, wouldn't mind that, either. ;)

Then I also love that he thought of Clark in all ways..more than a spouse. I don't doubt that he trusts Clark, but probably more than he ever thought he would. This was FAB!!

And I love how he quickly changed into the bat to do crowd control, then slipped back in unnoticed. Gotta love the Bat! :D

I'm wondering if Clark is still getting his injections. What would happen if he was weaned off of them? Maybe Bruce might decide he isn't really sick and doesn't need them anymore. Maybe Clark would start reacquiring his powers...and use them incognito to save his Master, choosing to remain Bruce's slave.

Oh, don't mind me. I'm just rambling. You are writing such a great story, I'll leave you to weave the plot. Thanks. Keep posting. Soon!!

I thought the injections mainly keep him an amnesiac. I'm not sure if they take his powers too. Wouldn't it be better if it was his metallic bracelets? Though maybe the drug does both. Though won't it be interesting if it does and he for some reason misses an injection. Very interesting. I wonder what he'll think of Bruce then? Will he agree with himself and realise that Bruce is trapped too as well as caring for him? I assume he will. But I wonder will it take time and how long it'll be.

Yes! When's the next chapter? Will there be more on sex/pleasure slaves lecture? What about the other story (in the gay bar)? Just curious. Also doesn't Livejournal notify you about anonymous comments?

Not sure when the next chapter will be up. I can say that the convention chapters are finished and a new event is taking its place.

Oh, and the gay bar story is still in the pipeline! :) I'm working on the second chapter in between answering these comments, LOL!

I'll note that the yes was a yes for a new chapter and a great read. I realise now it might not be very clear. Sorry I'm not good at coherent language especially when I love something and am reacting emotionally. Also I often don't want to analyse it.

As an addition if you do make Clark naked will Bruce be too? 'Cos I don't think it fair if only one of them is naked. Just a thought that doesn't need to be brought about on your part. I love the story so far and I suspect it'll be the case in the future. :-)
