(Preseason) Week 1: New England Patriots 47, Jacksonville Jaguars 12 (1-0)(Thursday, August 11, 2011)

Well, I missed the first half, due to watching Captain America: The First Avenger, but Tommy didn't take a snap, and a lot of the other starters didn't play, either. However, I heard that Tommy's back-up Brian Hoyer did very well, he and his receivers putting up lots of points, and third QB Ryan Mallett did well in the second half.

Of course, this is all preseason and Jacksonville's first string wasn't out there long, but it's better than seeing the rookies and second-year players floundering. I'd say putting up 47 points was pretty good, most in Patriots' team history for preseason. :) Bill Belichick was congratulating the rookies on good plays. He'll be ripping them today for mistakes seen on film, so they gotta take it when they can get it! ;)

There were some good stand-outs. Have to see if they continue the good work. :)

Tommy looked gorgeous, talking to Ochocinco most of the evening. :)
