Awww, this was so lovely, Brady! I loved all the things that Clark could hear, and when you realized just how far away they were, as well. And his thoughts on Bruce and the others were really sweet, too. :)

Thank you for sharing it with us! :)
Thanks, Star! :)
I took the mornings that I'd awakened by the ocean and remembered what kind of sounds I heard. And a full house in the summer? Almost a rite of passage! ;)
Aww! Such a gorgeous image. :) That sounds like the best way to start a day, for sure. And Bruce certainly needs that peace and tranquility, tempered by having family and friends around. :p
Sigh! This was just so lovely and it made me feel as if I was at the shore as well!
I love how Clark wants Bruce to have some of the fond experiences he has had in his life. Like the feeling of closeness and intimacy you can only get in small spaces shared with the ones you love.
The sounds of the sea in the early morning is so different than during the day or nightand you write it so beautifully. The sound of the buoy bell, the seagulls cries, the engine of the boat, it is as the rhythm of life itself and it fills the spirit.
Sigh! Lovely, just lovely... Thanks so much Bradygirl!

Now, I wouldn't recommend a crowded house 365 days of the year, but for a stay at the beach? It's fun! :)

I always loved the sound of the lobster boats going about their business when you first wake up. The engine is pretty distinct on those boats so you knew it was lobstermen out on the water. :)
Sigh! Lovely, just lovely... Thanks so much Bradygirl!
