Mostly I love this ep. With SV, nothing is 100%, but I don't care. They did more good than bad.
I thought of you with the Clark/Ollie scene in the church. ;)
Yeah, it seems really drastic to take all of Lex's memories instead of just Clark's Secret, but that's what fanfic is for! ;)
The Clex chemistry still lives! :)
I'm with you that they didn't sell the farm. It stays in the family! After all, if Lois and Clark intend to raise a family, the farm is a good place. And who says that Martha wouldn't return once her career as a Senator was over? Clark has always been anchored to Smallville no matter what version he is, so I'd hate to see this AU lose that.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some clever fix-its happening. Fanfiction is the reinterpretation of canon, of re-working the myths to suit ourselves as the ancients did sitting around the campfire with their myths. We just do it with computers. ;)
The seven-year gap for the Clois marriage really gives a nice opening to us slashers! If you take seven years to get married after being only minutes away from tying the knot, you've got issues! :)
I thought of you with the Clark/Ollie scene in the church. ;) Aww, that's nice of you. I was happy that the boys got some scenes together. I wasn't expecting much in regards to them and the show really surprised me. :D

That's what I was thinking. I always figured that Martha would want to retire there. Besides, Metropolis may be Clark's current home but it'll never be his real one. He needs Smallville.
I'm sure there will be enough fanfic with fix-its. I like how you explain fanfiction. I agree. :)

All in all, a good finale! :)

Metropolis is where his career as reporter and superhero is, but his heart is in Smallville. :)
Fanfiction scholarship is endlessly fascinating, to quote a certain Vulcan. ;)
