It really was fun to watch, wasn't it? I really felt that Clark wanted to apologize to Lex at the end for having that 'born evil' thought.

Oh, I had that thought, too! Even though Clark isn't fooled by Lex anymore (he knows he's dangerous), he truly regrets so much of what happened between them. He's matured now and recognizes his mistakes and Lex's shortcomings, and it hurts, that bright promise all turned to dust.

I was over the moon about this episode!!! And not expecting it, so it totally knocked me sideways! WOW! I wish I hadn't used up all my smarts earlier so I could leave a worthy comment describing my delight. Alas!

Oh, it was such fun seeing the 'Magnificent Bastard' again. He's supposedly back for 4 episodes and I can hardly wait to see the chaos in his wake.
