Powerful stuff, Brady.

I love how Steve gets it, and I'm glad he was there for her.

Thanks for posting:)

Thank you! :)

It's one of the best things about their relationship: they're comrades-in-arms, both Warriors, understanding what Warriors do.

Thanks for posting :)

You're very welcome! I'm glad you liked this. Thanks for reading and commenting. :)

Wow! You really rose to the occasion with this fic. This was simply gorgeous and really stirring. I would have to say this is one of my new favorites of yours. Very powerful :)

Thank you so much, dear! :)

I enjoy writing stories that emphasize Diana's different worldview than most of her colleagues. It's what makes her a unique superhero, and it helps her immensely that Steve understands.

Awww... *clutches heart*

Diana's definitely lucky to have Steve by her side both on and off the battlefield.

Diana's very lucky indeed. Being a Warrior can wear one down.

Ditto all of the above. And, considering the topic... I think that's probably all I'd better say /wry chuckle.

Nicely done, hun :)

Oh, I really like this glimpse of Diana's different value system here, and how she respects her friends but doesn't agree. I always love to see explorations of the cultural differences between Themyscira and Man's World, and beyond the obvious gender differences we don't always get much of that.

And I love shared looks of understanding on the battlefield SO MUCH, and this one packed a lot of punch!

I've always found that intriguing about her. While I love Clark growing up as one of us despite being an alien, I loved Diana and her fresh viewpoint of our culture. Probably why I'm not too keen on the reboot of hers with her growing up in America.

I think the Max Lord thing underscored her difference from Clark and Bruce and she'll always have that shading of difference.
