Oh dear gods. O_O This guy just about made me want to lose my lunch. O_o
And Abe Lincoln *wasn't* an abolitionist? I wondered how they would've had the Memorial without him having freed the slaves. Man, the history of this world is messed up. :(
*pets Clark* I get the feeling he's part of that experimental study. Ugh.

Yeah, not pretty!

Lincoln was. His friend Joshua Speed was not, both in 'our' universe and this one.
Weird how things went in the Civil War. Lincoln was married to Mary Todd, who came from a prominent Kentucky slaveholding family, and all her relatives fought for the Confederacy. Bet Thanksgiving dinner was a bit strained!

Aha! So we get a little glimpse of what might be going on with Clark - some mad scientist wanting to prove their point perhaps. Not sure I like the idea of Bruce coming to the attention of Elias - he seems like very bad news.

I love the bit of the secret lab trying the impossible. I also like Elias/Edmund conversation. They are both too stupid and vicious to live, kill them already
( ... )
How the hell does Elias know Bruce and who the hell is he to "talk" to him? Of course this isn't good on the home front for Bruce and his family.
It is so unsettling to hear them talk about the kryptonians like that and getting rid of them. I have no idea why they feel they have the right to push their views on other races. It really erks me to no end. Great chapter it shows trouble is brewing!!

Bruce and Elias attended meetings together way back in the first arc. :)

We know that something is up with Clark. :)

He is. Very bad. :(

And as if that wasn't enough, Clark might be the "pet project" of a mad scientist.
*sigh*
Interesting revelations, can't wait to see how you play that out.
Thanks for sharing. Next chapter soon?

He'll have to be very clever!

Edmund is upsetting the apple cart, isn't he?
The disc is making an appearance before the arc is over, never fear! :)
