Another wonderful addition. I like how everyone has gathered around Bruce and Dick to offer support. And you write a wonderful Barbara.

I loved the flashback scene between Dick and Barbara, where they're talking about his relationship with Bruce, that was a really great segment.

Plus now I'm uber-curious to know what the Joker is up to.

I truly love the Barbara/Dick friendship. They are both Bats and understand the ways of the Bat, understand Gotham, and have been in the trenches together. I don't really buy them as a romantic couple, but as friends? Absolutely!

Why do I get the horrible feeling that Speedy's going to be in big trouble? :s

I like all these little flashbacks - you're really showing how much Dick means to everyone very well.

Possibly! Speedy is determined to bring the Joker down.

It's exactly what I was aiming for: Dick's importance in everyone's lives while still retaining the Bruce/Dick flavor. :)

The Joker *always* makes me nervous! :)

Thank you, Louise! This story turned out to be longer than I had originally intended, but I enjoyed writing it even as the characters kept poking me in the ribs to keep expanding it! :)
