Thank you, Pervy! I'm so glad that the characterizations worked! I always remember that feeling of equal partnership when I read comics, so I wanted to elaborate on that here. Dick *does* often defer to Bruce when they're out on the streets, but I think it's from respect and the fact that in certain situations, *someone* has to be the boss. Otherwise they are equal, and I got that sense even when Robin was just a kid. The partnership wouldn't have worked if it wasn't, IMO.
