I agree with most everything you've mentioned. :) ...of course, all I was able to say at the time I posted was &?%&%?&% cause, ya know, I get all worked up and then my brain stops working logically. *lol* But I pretty much agree with your review here. :D
I wasn't loving this one. I don't much care about Oliver's backstory, and I don't muchc are about an Oliver/Tess backstory. And I really don't think this was the time in the season, with so many new things happening, to have Clark playing little more then a bit part. And Oliver yelling at him at the end was just irritating.
I give Ollie a pass this time because of what he'd just learned, and also that Clark knew and hadn't told him.
But as I said up above, everyone telling Clark to 'face his destiny' and all is old. Clark has to find it on his own. He's been battered and bruised far worse than comics Clark, and he's understandably wary of what the future might hold for him.

Word to all the above! I'm sorry but I can't find excuses for Oliver's behaviour when he keeps on dissing Clark to emphasize how awesome he himself is. Maybe it's because deep down he knows it's quite the opposite and he's envious and jealous of Clark. Whatever the reason may be, this is the Oliver I just don't want to see. After scenes like this one, I really wish he had his own show and left Clark alone for good.
I thought they had gotten over everyone telling Clark to fulfill his destiny. I guess not. That was the only part of the episode that upset me. But like you said, Ollie had some alcohol, was upset at finding out the truth and betrayed by Clark for hiding it. :\
Lollie has always been a cute pair to me too. Lois did the emotional scenes well.
Tess bumping off her attacker was rather intense. I was impressed. :D
I liked this episode. I know it seems a lot of people didn't but it made me happy. Ollie just owns me, it seems. :D
