Because I remember when Bruce put all the normal kid things far ahead of patrols. And a real HUMAN Bruce always would (I hate Miller's darkening of the character out of his good sense.)
Absolutely! Dick couldn't love Bruce as much as he does if the guy had been a Millerite bastard. BTW, Miller is a psycho.
Sorry to butt in in your thread, but I just have to say that I completely agree with everything you two said. Miller is nuts and all of his male leading characters are the same, regardless of the fact that he sometimes works with characters created by other people and who had their own personalities before he worked his "genius" on them. :p
This is a lovely piece, thanks for writing it, bradygirl ♥

Butt away! :)

'Genius', huh? Well, nutcases sometimes are, but I don't see it with Frankie. The guy has issues and clearly needs psychiatric help as evidenced by his worldview.

YES! Wee!Dick is always a favourite of mine -- but you know that -- and the poor kid really did have quite a lot on his plate. He had it much tougher, in my opinion, than either Jason or Tim, and he started so much younger. It's why (and I've said it before and I'll say it again) Dick is THE Robin.

It's amazing how much he was able to juggle! But then, he's a bright little bird. ;)

Definitely! He was the first, and Bruce was trying to learn, too, and it's like your firstborn: the mistakes get made on them. :)
He did start much younger with so much responsibility!

He was the brightest and most necessary of the Robins for Bruce.
