Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27, New England Patriots 10 (Pre-season) (0-2) (August 17, 2008)
Well, good thing it’s preseason, because last night’s game was AWFUL! Awful defense, awful offense, and what-have-you. Tom Brady didn’t play. He didn’t even travel with the team to Tampa! He has a foot injury (worrisome) and the three back-up QBs are pitiful.
Anyway, I’m not worried (except about Tom). ;) Pre-season tells you NOTHING, except who’s healthy and who isn’t. Half the guys out there last night won’t be there on September 7th, Opening Day.
The next game is fast a'comin', this Friday! And it's at home. Hopefully Tom will be well enough to get some work in, but if he isn't, we'd rather have him ready for the season! :)
