Today was a lot of fun. I went with my sister to the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It's usually held here the weekend before the holiday so as not to interfere with *the* St. Patrick's Day Parade in Southie in Boston. There were a lot of marching bands, Irish dancers, floats, and the Shriners' funny cars. :) We wore green, dozens of buttons, Irish hats, and jewelry. The day was warm (up in the 40s) and alternated between sunny and cloudy.
I'll be celebrating all week and on the day next Saturday, enjoying my Irish heritage and figuring my combativeness on certain issues probably stems from that part of my make-up. :)
I suppose my writing creativity could be helped by green genes, as the Irish are famous writers and poets, though spoken blarney is well-known, too! ;)
A few writing notes: one more chapter to go, and the first arc of "Rainbow's Freedom" (S/B) will be ready for posting. Parts 3 and 4 of "Announcement III: The Day After" (S/B) will be posted in the next few days. I've got glimmerings of a Bruce/Dick drabble for the
batknights comm and a new B/D fic idea that I got today. I've got several more in various stages of WIPness, so I'm ridin' the Muses while they're hot, baby! :)
