Oh, my God. Wow. That was just brutal.

You always write the most wonderful happy silver age fluff, but then you turn around and write incredible death fic. This was fantastic.

*sniffles* I'm glad he gets to keep the locket, at least. *sniffles more*

It's such a sad touch, that she'll rest forever on Paradise Island, always out of his reach...but of course in the realest sense she's always with him...

The "rose-strewn waves" were a particularly lovely image...so beautiful and sad...

Very true! He'll realize that in time, but it still hurts that he can never visit her resting place.
