Oh, yes! Such strength and power between them, and always mindful of the fragile humans around them, especially their precious ones.
And I can easily picture Bruce and Steve enjoying a lively conversation about big boy toys.
LOL! Yes, boys and their toys. ;)

*blushes*
You do a girl's heart good, Green Eyes! :) *hugs*

*hugs back* You're welcome, Birthday Girl! :)
These two pairs work so well together, and who better than Diana and Clark to contemplate the joys and sorrows of loving humans?
When I thought of what the two couples had in common, bingo! ;)
I especially love the glimpses we see of Bruce and Steve tinkering and laughing together--I'd never really thought about the fact that they would bond over a shared love of beautiful machinery, but it makes perfect sense.
I figured that as a pilot, Steve is probably a plane junkie, and we know that Bruce is interested in anything technological! :)
Thank you so much for this glimpse into their lives, it really feels like we just overheard a private conversation, and I feel very privileged. :)
You're very welcome! :)
The story just flowed once it got going. They really wanted to tell their stories. :)

Diana crossed her arms. “Do you know that Steve ends up with bruises after we have sex?” She smiled slightly at Clark’s blush. Ah, the modesty of this so-called ‘sophisticated’ society! “I have to be so careful even in the throes of passion.”
“Yes.” Clark’s eyes were on Bruce, who was starting a good-natured argument. “Bruce’s body is crisscrossed with scars from his nightly work. That doesn’t even count the occasional bruises he gets…well, I’ve had to restrain myself among humans my whole life.” He added a trifle shyly, “That includes in the bedroom.”
I really wanted to hug Clark here. I adore him being all shy.
The conversation between him and Diana was just brilliantly written. You have such a way with words and I loved the dialogue and the descriptions they used for their lovers.
Excellent work! Everything was perfect. I was grinning like a dork at the end! :D

Thank you! It just occurred to me that Clark and Diana would understand each other's concerns about their mortal lovers. :)

Shy Clark is my special boy! :)
Diana? She comes from an island of women who are probably pretty frank about sex. ;)
