I'm the Anti-Miller? *Thank you!* *hugs Merfilly* :)

I've never been a big fan of a Psycho-Bat characterization. I'm willing to believe that Bruce can skitter around the edges of madness, but Miller...yech. Doesn't he hate Dick, too? *glares*

I'm pleased that my Dick voice works! :)

I'm really enjoying this series so far. While I like angsty Bruce/Dick as much as the next person, it's nice to see them in a relationship that's less antagonistic and more open.

Another thing I like about this fic is that Bruce Wayne, well... exists, if that makes any sense. That he has a life and a history and relationships that are beyond just a cover for Batman. I'm interested to read the last 2 parts and find out how the rest of the world reacts.

Thank you, Cavaleira! It's fun to write a happy fic! :)

It *does* make sense! I like to explore Bruce's character and who better to help me do it than his little bird? :)

Reactions coming up in the next installment! I should have it posted sometime tomorrow. *keeps fingers crossed*

Ooh, this is lovely! Your Dick voice really stands out, and it's nice to see Bruce being... well, human. *hugs him* I agree with 'Filly, your Bruce and Dick are very anti-Miller.
Definitely looking forward to where you take this.

Tell me this is not the prequel to Time and Place? Please?

LOL! Who would have guessed that a human Bruce would get everyone so excited? :) But I think there's a human lurking in there somewhere, and who better than Dick to bring him out?

You can rest easy. This is not the prequel to "The Age Of Heroes". :)

Aw! I love how your Dick combines the best qualities of an adult with the same enthusiasm and joy he always had as a boy as well. And as always when you tackle this, I do like the discussion of the real-world implications of coming out for the characters.

Plus I love the title. *giggles a lot*

I always love to mix the joy that is Dick with his growing up.

I decided since the RL gay rights and homophobia issues would be the forefront of the S/B "Announcement" series, that I would tackle that issue here for Bruce/Dick, though also explore the different ways it could manifest as Bruce holds a lot of power in Gotham.

I'm glad you love the title! It made me laugh, too. ;) Glad you enjoyed this, Jen.

Yep, uh-huh. Their coming out will be the biggest news, and I just know there's going to be some backlash or other for them to endure. But Bruce is talking and confessing his feelings, and Dick is so happy, and they're so in love, that nothing will stand in the way of their happiness. *holds up sign for fairy tale ending here*
