Gods!

Raw anguish, lady! Such a dark image. I loved the Countdown issue with the Deadly!Batman but this was even better.

Crossing that line would be the end of The Bat as he is.

Bravo!

*beams* Thank you, Green Eyes! :)

*nods* It's certainly tempting to off someone like the Joker who have ruined so many lives, but if he ever did that, he wouldn't be the Batman anymore, but something infinitely darker.

Bravo!

:)

Really powerful! I don't think I could have stood it being Dick instead of Jason. No wonder Batman couldn't.

Chilling and frightening beyond belief.

I love this. I love how you captured Batman's slow demise and how he got to a point he could never turn back from and only got worse and worse.

Excellent!

Thank you, Catwoman! :)

Unless Bruce was Milleresque from the start on Earth-51, he would have had a startling spiral down into madness and murder, and it fascinates me to try and figure out how that happened.

I'm glad you loved this! :)

When you go dark, you go dark.

Ya think? ;)

This is a scary Bat. A really quite terrifying Bat.

Very terrifying!

(Although I confess to being a little glad he went after Deathstroke before Joker, to make sure Dick was safe.)

I thought it was a good feint.

This is incredibly powerful and very devastating. What was Dick doing during all this, I wonder?

Read the last two lines again, dear.

Whoops. Okay, so what I did was, you had me so unnerved by this Batman that at the last section change, my eyes skipped over the last two lines and so I didn't even see them until you pointed them out. *facepalms* You should feel free to delete my earlier comment so that I don't feel like such the blond. Oh, man.

And, wow. It's amazing how much more devastating and powerful this fic becomes, at least for me, knowing that it's Dick and not Jason. Suddenly, it makes even more sense, and I'm still feeling like the blondest blond alive that my eyes just skipped over those last two lines. I think it's because I was a little too creeped out by this Batman. Yeah. *nods* That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.

Sorry for the blind review earlier. *blushes*

Deletion done. :)

I figured as much about you skipping over the last two lines. :)

Should my blond self be offended? ;) *teasing, sweetie, teasing!*

You know me and my Dickie-bird. He would have been in here somewhere, if he wasn't, you know, dead ( ... )

Brilliantly creepy. I've always enjoyed fics that explore the dark side of Batman's nature and this sure delivered.

Thank you, Joelle! It's one of those juicy little pieces I like to sink my teeth into. :)
