Wow, it's already Christmas Week! Remember when you were a kid? Christmas seemed to take FOREVER to come, and Christmas Eve was the longest night of the year as you waited for Santa. Now as an adult, you turn around and say, "Is it Christmas ALREADY

And you'd wait and wonder if Christmas would ever get here! I do remember.

It just took FOREVER for it to be morning! ☺️

It sure did. We'd open gifts in the morning, my parents and me, then we'd have to get ready and go to my sister's in-laws' house for dinner. I used to hate being away from my new toys.

Me, too! We had to go to a different house every year. Still, Mom and Dad said we could take one new toy with us so that helped. :)

Once my nephews came along, everything shifted to their house. We would go over Christmas Eve and spend the night. It was okay because there was a party and then candlelight mass and the next day the cornucopia of gifts! Then a large dinner and tree afterwards at her in-laws and then home, sweet, home.
