Week 5: New England Patriots 29, Detroit Lions 0 (Sunday, October 9, 2022)
Wowza! A shut-out and rookie Bailey Zappe's first start! Perfect autumn day. :)
The offense finally clicked, though only 1 TD scored in garbage time. Field goals ain't gonna cut it, guys! But at least they seemed to be able to move the chains.
The defense was sharp, getting that shut-out, and special teams were good. A fun game, with the added bonus of the Patriots wearing their throwback red uniforms and Pat Patriot on their helmets. Pat did well! :)
Miami lost and everyone else won.
Next week: the Cleveland Browns.
