Hey, it's a rare occurrence: a full moon on Halloween!
There have been full moons in recent decades but
the last time it could be seen across the U.S.? 1944! Yep, Allied troops were racing toward Germany (unfortunately temporarily derailed by the Battle of the Bulge starting on December 16th) and grinding through the South Pacific (the horrendous Battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa yet to come), and now we here in the U.S. can see it during a pandemic. I'm not sure what that means!
