Stargirl 1x6; Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 7x5

Stargirl 1x6

Pat confronts Courtney abut the JSA items that she took. He wants the Wildcat suit, Dr. Mid-Nite's goggles and Hourman's hourglass back. The kids refuse and go after the Gambler, one of the Injustice Society. Sportsmaster and Tigress fight the kids. The Cosmic Staff is kaput! Except it's not. :)

Pat decides to give the kids training while the ISA decides to find out who they are.

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. 7x5

Poor Daniel Sousa! 1973 is a shocker! He missed the '60s, after all.

Jemma has a mysterious implant in her neck. Hmm.

The safe house bar is the site of a S.H.I.E.L.D. celebration. Enoch has been missing for a year from his bartender duties. At the party, General Rick Stoner introduces Wilfred Malick. He was supposed to die in 1970. Uh, oh. Instead, HYDRA's accelerated Project Insight 40 years quicker. A satellite will put the deadly program into space and wipe out whomever HYDRA wants.

Malick recognizes Coulson and the agents take his youngest son Nathaniel hostage and escape. Nathaniel sees Quake's powers in action. Enoch arrives with a hot car and rescues the agents. Still miffed at being left behind!

The Zephyr jumps to 1976 and the satellite is ready to be launched. The agents come up with a plan to blow up the Lighthouse and the satellite but Mack's parents are being held hostage inside the Lighthouse, so he aborts the mission and Coulson and May are captured by S.H.I.E.L.D./HYDRA. Mack destroys the satellite but reveals the Zephyr's position.

Meanwhile, Skye and Daniel are kidnapped by Nathaniel Malick, who wants to find out how Quake's powers work.

I did enjoy Yo-Yo referencing James Bond films and how guys in jumpsuits in secret bases never ends well. :)

Ironically, Peggy Carter's two romances are both Men-Out-Of-Time. Steve Rogers has it a little easier, learning history at his own pace, but Daniel Sousa is thrust into new eras in dangerous situations. He was plucked out of time a year before Elvis burst onto the scene. I wonder what he'll think of anti-war protesters and the cynicism people have in the ensuing decades about government.
