Super Bowl LIII: New England Patriots 13, Los Angeles Rams 3 (14-5, 3-0) (Sunday, February 3, 2019)
SIX RINGS, BABY!!!
The Pats won a defensive grinder. It looked for awhile as if they might win 3-0! :) Both teams really stepped up.
But, the offense came through in the 4th quarter with a touchdown. Tom came through when it mattered. And throughout the entire game, Julian Edelman was money, catching 10 balls for 141 yards. He won the MVP and it was well-deserved.
Special teams was outstanding except our kicker missing a field goal. Otherwise everyone was sharp. Our punter got a lot of work!
Tom now has six rings, as much as the entire Pittsburgh Steelers organization! ;)
The New England Patriots have gone to 11 Super Bowls and their record is 6-5. Under Brady/Belichick, they have gone 9 times and their record is 6-3.
Victory parade in Boston tomorrow! :)
