Week 4: New England Patriots 38, Miami Dolphins 7 (2-2) (Sunday, September 30, 2018)
Now that's more like it!
The Patriots had a bit of a slow start but then they got on a roll and never looked back. The offense scored a lot (though Tom had two INTs) and actually looked crisp at times. Rookie RB Sony Michel had a break-out game, and newcomer Josh Gordon contributed.
The defense swarmed to the ball and actually made plays! They were able to chip the receivers and stop the run. And even rush the passer and get a sack and some turnovers. Amazing! :)
Miami could only score a TD in garbage time.
Special teams did well, and there was energy this week. Whoo hoo!
All the teams in our division lost big today.
AFC EAST DIVISION
Miami 3-1
NE 2-2
BUFF 1-3
NYJ 1-3
A very good day for the Patriots' Hall Of Fame Induction Weekend. Matt Light, the left tackle who protected Tom Brady's blindside for years, was the inductee this year. I'm sure he was thrilled with the game. :)
Indy comes to town in four days!
