I stand here
Gazing up
At the stars,
Wondering
What oblivion is like.

Empty.

Thanos snapped
His fingers,
And so many
Were gone:
Wanda, Vision,
T’Challa, Fury,
Hill, Sam
(Oh, god, Sam!)
And you.

The holy rollers
Are saying
It’s the Rapture,
That God
Leaned down
And swept away
The true believers.
Well, Thanos
Is no god.
He’s not even
An Asgardian-level
God.

I feel like
I’m back
In the ice,
While you suffer
Or maybe
It’s just the opposite.
You’re at peace,
And I’m
The one
Suffering.

But somehow
Deep in
My heart,
I know
That you
Will step
Down
From the
Stardust,
And come back
To me.
