Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. 4x18; Arrow 5x16 (OOS)

Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. 4x18

Poor Mace! Well, he always wanted to be a hero. A pity only a handful of people will ever know it. S.H.I.E.L.D. can never publicize Radcliffe's Framework.

I assume Mace was essential to keep people like Fitz focused on an enemy, so he was given powers.

Everyone's getting their desire (Mace's heroism, Mack's daughter, May a supremely-talented agent, Phil's teaching of history, Skye happy with good guy Ward, Fitz THE top scientist,), but it's overlaid by the HYDRA tyranny.

Interesting scene between Aida and Skye. Aida knows Lincoln could make everything right for Skye, and she lets slip her deisre for autonomy, something an AI isn't supposed to have.

Arrow 5x16 (OOS)

I got to see the episode I missed when I went to the Lincoln lecture. Guess for once it's good that a repeat was run only a month later.

Actually, not much to say about this depressing episode. It's all just a run-up to the Torture Ollie episode. Grimness, torture, guilt trips, evil...a real chucklefest!
