Lots of good episodes this week. Spoilers ahead!
Supergirl 1x20
Some would call this episode hokey, silly. cheesy...I loved it! For too long the House of El has been mired in gloom and grimdarkness. In the comics recently, Kara had so much rage that she was able to become a Red Lantern. Nu52 Clark was too busy emo-ing/crying into his cornflakes to inspire anybody. Movieverse Clark? Even worse! FINALLY we see what the House of El does best: inspires people, gives them hope! You go, Supergirl!
And it's no surprise that Sam Lane and Max Lord are keeping secrets. After what they saw with the evil Kryptonians, OF COURSE they are going to plot! And, Alex, your attraction to Max is trouble!
The Flash 2x18
Bringing Zoom to Earth-One? Bad idea!
Glad it isn't really Jay Garrick as Zoom. Talk about character assassination!
Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. 3x17
Pretty good episode. Good twist with Skye as the possessed Inhuman. Poor Lincoln!
Elena and Joey want to leave? Good riddance! I'm sick of people getting all indignant over situations that can't be helped. would they have preferred S.H.I.E.L.D. ignore the possibility of a compromised Inhuman? It's one thing to hate Government organizations, it's another to be smart about it.
Someone is supposed to die this season. I wouldn't mind if it was Skye. She's a little too Mary Sue for me, but we'll see what happens.
Legends Of Tomorrrow 1x12
Interesting episode. We see the younger versions of the team. Isn't it sweet that tough, bad-ass Sara beams when her daddy praises her? :) I really liked Jax interacting with his father, and taking that chance with the timeline.
Rory? Hard to say he was just a kid when he didn't wake anyone up as he fled a burning house! How old do you have to be to know that you should wake your family up?!!!
And Rip! Quite a kid. Maybe Adult Rip should have taken Kid Rip with him when he confronted Kid Degaton.
I hope that haven of Rip's remains untouched. I like his adoptive mother. She can handle anything!
