I've heard of the Man Of Steel sequel that will feature an adversarial relationship between the World's Finest, because fighting each other is what people want to see. Who cares about friendship and working together? Anyway, a few message boards I sampled said it would be a dud, stupid, etc. They said since Man Of Steel was so awful this would be even worse, and what kind of fight could Batman put up against Superman if you were going to be gritty and realistic? Most people say ugh to DC and will stick to Marvel's movies.
Now, admittedly, I didn't think Man Of Steel was great, but it was good enough to hold my interest in an AU kind of way. And seeing Superman and Batman FINALLY together on the big screen? That's a plus. Even if the movie is awful, it'll probably still rake in the bucks. We'll see in two years, anyway.
You know who should sue the pants off Hollywood? The holders of the rights to the Lone Ranger and the Green Hornet. Hollywood screwed up twice with the Lone Ranger and Tonto and let Seth Rogan (Really? Seth Rogan?) totally mess with the Green Hornet and Kato.
Oh, well, hopefully DC will finally get on track and create a good movie for the World's Finest, though I won't hold my breath. It seems as if the Justice League movie will be even years in the future.
