How did you manage to get "The Gentleman"? I thought for sure you'd get "The Last Man on Earth", perhaps that was me, yep that was me, nevermind. If I could describe Brady in one word it would, of course, be; skittish. But I still have like, 750 characters, so I'm allowed to go into greater depth. Brady is the nicest person (read: biggest pushover) ever. He has a great sense of humor, for a computer geek. Which makes all us other computer geeks super jealous because he gets all the tail and we're left with seconds (thirds in my case). If you're looking for a solid, helpful person to be your friend, then Brady is your man. If you're looking for an asshole that will mercilessly make fun of you, then message me. I'll talking to yall real soon :)
Mike D posted an amusing comment to my OKCupid profile. Here was the comment I left in return:
This guy used to be one of my minions at a place where I used to work. Aside from that and once owning him at quarters ("Drink bitch!"), I've hung out and partied with this guy some. So if you enjoy being entertained by a funny guy and having a good time with some beer thrown in, then you should too! While he may be a cross between the Last Man On Earth and the Loverboy, ladies might be interested to know that despite the horns and pitchfork he's volunteered quite a bit of time with kids at Camp Sparky through ASU and was even featured in a campus wide newsletter for it.
On another note, here is a survey that I was compelled to take:
10 years ago: I was 12 years old, and was entering 6th grade about a month later. For 5th grade, I had moved to a different, smaller private school called Kachina. Even though there wasn't as much of an in-crowd, I didn't really make any solid friends there, but as always, I managed to have a great time with my friends outside of school, most notably David and Jessica. I'm sure I went on a few fun trips that summer, but I can't remember exactly which ones they were.
5 years ago: In the year of the new millenium, I was 17, working the summer at the Phoenix College computer lab, and was getting ready to attend ASU in the Fall. I had made a couple of friends at Phoenix College, several of whom I would see again at ASU. I was still living with my mom and taking the bus to school and work. The last time I had seen my dad was months ago.
1 year ago: I was still attending ASU (only part time), had been working full time in the computing sites for over two years, and was settled into the condo where Bell and I were living together. Things were okay between us, ranging from wonderful to difficult, then we broke up two months later. Mom was living in Bellingham, had visited Phoenix one week earlier, and would move back to Phoenix a month or two later. See journal entries from one year ago
here.
Yesterday: Got to work a bit late. At home, I played some Roller Coaster Tycoon, watched some TV including Rockstar, Family Guy, and the Daily Show.
Today: I was early for work - A rare occurance at my new job. Picked up some pasta sauce and frozen pizzas (2 for 1!) at Safeway. I'll be meeting up with mom for dinner after work, and then doing more or less of the above.
Tomorrow: Work, cook pasta, what I did Monday more or less.
5 snacks I enjoy: Chocolate raisins, Nacho Cheese Doritos, M&Ms, tortilla chips, chewy granola bars (great on the go).
5 bands I know the lyrics of most of their songs: Not all are recent bands, but I know most of their songs - Bush, Garbage, Gin Blossums, Linkin Park, Alanis Morrissette (not a band, but so what?).
5 things I would do with $100,000,000: Good lord that's a lot of money! Pay off the debt my mom & I have, buy my mom & I each a house, give a bunch of money to an existing church or start my own, travel around the world, then finally put the rest in savings and live off the interest/dividends.
5 locations to run away to: Europe, Florida, Las Vegas, Six Flags - Magic Mountain, Washington state.
5 things I like doing: Spending time with friends, travelling, watching movies in theaters or on DVD.
5 things I wish I could wear: A hat that doesn't leave red/dent marks on my skin, sunglasses that don't leave red/dent marks on my skin, a tight shirt without feeling really skinny, long pants (jeans, khakis, etc) that don't make my legs feel sweaty, 15 more pounds.
5 TV shows I like: Currently - Big Brother, Dead Like Me, Family Guy, Rockstar: INXS, The 4400.
5 Movies: Recently - Bewitched, LOTR (extended edition of the last one), Sin City, Spiderman 2, The Usual Suspects.
5 Famous People I'd like to meet: I dunno - Michael J. Fox, Dave Chappelle, James Earl Jones, C.S. Lewis (dead or alive wasn't specified), and Billy Graham?
5 biggest joys at the moment: Spending time with friends, spending time with Mom, laughing, blasting music, the weekend coming up.
5 toys: My home computer, cell phone, work computer (lots of powerful programs on it that I would call "toys"), my MP3/CD car receiver, Play Station 2.
