(no subject)
I apologize for not answering im's the other night(monday night). I was in the middle of a very important conversation and wasn't much in the mood for anything else. Don't take it personally.
Had a wonderful dinner last night with most of my JMU crew. There was 13 of us at Friday's in sterling. We all ate and drank and had fun. Jenny sent her best as she couldn't be there and even Miss Sachse called as we were paying the check. It was good to hear from her again :)
Let me ask any of you who have done food service before. Is it really that hard to split up a check? Our waiter took all our orders knowing that we wanted seperate checks, started ringing them up serperately, then his manager told him to stop. His manager then informed us that their computer was unable to seperate checks. If you computer can seperate checks, how does the person on the other side of the restaurant or in the bar have a seperate check than mine? doesn't seem to make sense to me. SO we all had to figure out on our own how much we owed. And quite frankly if they get shorted, it's their own damn fault.
My grandmother is still in the hospital :( They found a mass on her spleen today and think it may have metasticized(sp) to her brain. They are running a cat scan today to find out. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She's been having a rough couple of weeks.
Uhhhhh....tonight has the potential to be awesome. I'm cooking lasagna for a few friends (jmu style vegi lasagna), then hopefully I'll get to practice some swing dance and read some harry potter with the ever lovely Miss Rose. All in all, it's ending up to be a good week.
