where am i now?
i am in charleston, sc now. i moved here from burlington, nc back on october 1, 2009. i started a new job at blackbaud on daniel island. so far its been ok, just really hard to adjust to this new type of schedule. i'm used to having unlimited flexibility with my schedule...here...not so much. but that's ok, i'm in a situation that is taking care of my family.
i'm also starting this sunday as a part time worship leader for unity baptist in mt. pleasant. we'll see how that goes. seems like a nice church, but i've said that about all the churches i've worked at and have been sorely disappointed later. so, i'm not going to jump to conclusions yet...just feel it out and then let you know how it is going.
my wife is pregnant with our 2nd child. we'll hopefully find out whether it is a boy or girl in a couple of weeks. she's due april 9, 2010. rhylee is excited, she gets to have a little brother or sister. the bates family continues to grow!!
