Random Aussie pic of the day...
I don't think I'll ever fully write up my time in Aussie like I did parts of Sweden and Norway. To compensate for this unfortunate fact, I'll just post a random pic(s) every once in a while and briefly describe it.
The first pic is an inflatable kangaroo that was bantied about in the stands by drunken Aussie fans. The unfortunate soul who mistakenly batted it towards a police offer was mercilessly subjected to the "YOU ARE A WANKER!" cheer accompanied by rhythmic clapping.
Since cricket is so boring, the fans are forced to do such things to entertain themselves. Sad, really. The other terrific activity is to highly inflate condoms and then knock then around in the air until they drift down onto the field and burst on contact with the grass. The cheers for this were almost always louder than cheers for the actual sporting event. At some points, even the players were looking into the stands for entertainment.
Summary: Cricket matches are fun, but not because of the cricket.
