Baseball fans are up in arms about the Barry Bonds homerun ball. At least the ones with official blogging power are. Personally I like the play of power from a historical standpoint. I could see myself as the merchant that put an asterisk on the capstone of pharaoh's pyramid.

Yesterday I ran into a really old friend and caught up for a while. He is married with kids, a house, a job, and the generally accepted Lu Ann platter of what life should offer. He's happy... I mean he has the standard hint of caged fear in his eyes but he's happy where he is. I'm still out running free in the hills and happy as well... the fear of a lack of caging comes later, I am told, although I already smell its scent. I like talking to people that are at peace with where they are, because it gives me hope; that they are friends is always a bonus.
