well i guess im going to upday now because someone was giving me grief about it. chemistry sucks my butt. no one in my whole class has any idea whats going on. were doing a subject that i cant even say let alone understand. it doesnt help that we're not a very smart class. anyway all me brandon sujay gina and ronak ever do is talk about unchemistry related things or haw dumb and stupid the teacher, class, material and numbers are. yesterday i had a chem lab and i missed a french quiz. on french quizes there is listening and reading. on the makeup quiz ther was reading and WRITING. the combonation of my lack of knowledge of french and the fact that i hadnt opened a book to study had turned out to be a bad mix. today at lunch i had food in my mouth and i laughed. but since my mouth was full i had to laugh out my nose if u know what i mean. so a ton of snot left my nose and went on my face. im going to stop there if u want more details ask anyone who sits at my lunch table. today during study hall jeremy monsky jason mcmanamanaman and john conaboy had a picture drawing contest only using calculators. i was the judge. jeremys and jasons were pretty good but johns blew me out of the water. it was a pic of supermans chest, it was awesome. i saved it on my calculator if anyone wants to see it. mr caboot is a funny man. i will post some of the funnier things he has said at a later time. tonight i went with my parents to the spagettii supper. my waitresses were colleen davis, daria and renee. it was great service and good food. now the rest of this entry will be about music because i really like music. if u arent interested in music stop reading now. i love being a drumline leader. i have spent about 5 minutes actually playing in band this week. jeff and i tell ms jackling that we need to "look for stuff" or "move stuff" and we get out of the whole class. its awesome. i would suggest to anyone to join the drumline and be a drumline leader next year. jazz band started on wednsday. it was an interesting practice. this year jeff will be playing drum set on most songs and i will play congas and whatever i feel like so i might bring in my castanets djembe guiro or whatever. this years rhythem section wont be like last years. also i am in district band. it is in the begining of january. i have a read-through this saturday. unfortunatly i have to learn to play mallets by january which sucks my butt. we have the option to stay with a host family during districts. i dont think im going to because it could be really weird. im not really looking forward to districts. so monday night dave gaul invited me to see steve smith and his band at the regal room in olyphant. his guitar player was from chick coreas band and the keyboard player was from santanas band. they were awsesome. they played a lot of funk and jazz. on some of the songs the keyboard player played the accordian. on the accordian he played surprisingly good jazz which wasnt what i expected. then in the middle of this jazz song the went into this polka. it was halarious. then steve did an amazing drum solo. it was cum in your pants good. he has amazing control of his double bass drum pedal. i can only imagine having skills like him. i have never before hear a drum solo stick to a certain theme like his did. i cant really explain it. on some other songs steve played the udu. for those uneducated people out there an udu is a clay pot shaped like a gourd kinda. it has holes init wand when u hit it with your hand it makes really cool sounds. nick had one in school last year but i didnt understand what it was then. so overall it was a really good night. i got one of their cds. also i am in Jeffy McDs Slapfunk Allstars which most of you know. we are going to play at the benefit concert in about a week. we need a lot of practice before then. here is a list of some songs that we might play.
