Yesterday, we went to TJ to get some drugs and have ice cream. Ice cream is much better in Mexico.
I have to say we were quite disappointed.
Pharmacies are on every corner. The place was dirty and the food was ok and the people begging to come into their shop, were zealous.
It may be better to go back with someone who knows the lay of the land, but, I think I will cross that off the list of things that must be done. I did get some medical supplies. We did get a call and a text from Nick's daughter.
Evidently, Nick's mum is in the hospital. She has the same blockage issues she had a while back. I really want to send him home to be there. But, he kinda refuses to go. I can understand that. I think we will know more today.
Steve and John had tickets to see this play. Corpus Christ I. We went to dinner at a Tapas place, Cafe Saville, and then off to see the play at the Diversionary Theatre. What a wonderful venue and place to perform a play.
I won't get into the details of the play, but you must see it.
There was a little old lady walking around. She just had so much class. White hair, kept neat, black dress and a creamish colored blazer. She was checking programs at the door as they were the tickets.
There were two gentlemen in the audience. They were celebrating 59 years of being together. They were up there in years, but it was quite amazing to see. I was thinking, what is 59 years in straight years? Hmm... like 250? Who has the formula???
After the play, which you all should go and see... we went to a dessert place on 5th? or was it 4th??? that had these to-die-for desserts. All they served. And it was fantastic. I had this chocolate thing with stuff inside. They had this other cake that John had it was orange based and very yummy. The tart was good... as well as Nick's thing he had.
We called it a night and off we went to home.
