I keep watching this over and over again and I cannot get over how good it is. WHat I love the most about your work in general is how it's always both well constructed from a narrative pov, as seamless, dynamic and organic it is from an editing pov. One doesn't overpower the other, it just wonderfully works and never lets you down.

This is certainely true for this vid, where it goes fast and in all directions, dragging your eyes to awesomeness but also building an interesting POV on the actives and Echo's nature.
I've praised this during beta process, but I think this is definitely one of my favourite vid of yours. I know it's CVV so it's entertaining, but this is way more than that. I honestly can't believe how GOOD this is. Plus, the song is love. and you used it in an epic way too, the build up is fabulous culminating at the end with everyone depressed and crying.

Editing wise, everything's so on point. Your effects melt perfectly with the ones in the show, and you don't let any beat and musical element go away, you use them all, which makes the ensemble so organic and fantastic. The chorus and end are particularly awesome in that way. *clap clap*

Some highlights that need to be timestamped (again ;)):

0:00 - 0:15 Intro made of win
0:20 Superb use of movement and speed up footage and I loved the connection to the movement of yoga session that follows
0:40 love the work on "outside the frame"
1:25 loved the connection from the fight to the lying on the couch.
1:32-1:36 loved this "in and out of love" section. I particularly like what you did on all the "mmm ooooh" singing thing throughout the vid.
2:02 Gosh do I love this shot of crazy alpha here
2:41 - 3:01: My favourite part of the whole vid including the awesome shot of alpha at 2:47.

The way you reacted to this meant so much to me, Alex. I mean, it always does, but especially with this vid. I really poured myself into it, and I feel like it all came through for you. :) The things you said about it made me feel so fulfilled... it made the creative process feel complete, you know?

Hee. I think this was DC's favorite part. I just saw it *so many* times during the creative process, so it's difficult for me to judge. But I'll try to see it through your eyes.

It was tough at times to figure out how much to emphasize lyrics or guitar or beat. I'm glad my decisions paid off. :)

2:41 - 3:01: My favourite part of the whole vid
Whee! I was stressing the most over that part, because it has to be kinetic but also the most personal and emotional part of the vid.
