Heads up
The new vid will be posted Wednesday if anyone was wondering.
It's my first request - both music (a loooong ballad) and characters (Zoe/Wash) - and also my first attempt to evoke some serious emotion. And of course it's also my fledgling effort with the new vid software. Took a while to warm to all of those things, but I found my theme and look for the piece about a week ago and have been vidding like a maniac since then.
Ulead seems to work best as a sort of clip editor for Windows Movie Maker. The two play nice together, and that gives me a lot more creative options. Already learned a ton about the software, which I should be able to put to good use when I start the next vid for rinalin next week.
Big thanks to zoesbackup and obsessive24 for helping me cope with the birth pains.
Also, thanks to meinterrupted for the wonderful fic rec. I'm a proud papa of all my creations, but Sleepwalker is definitely my favorite son.
