Click to viewI feel like I deserve some sort of medal for not talking about this damn show until Festivids reveals. I've been watching since the premiere and dying each week to reblog, livetweet, and post ALL the things. Being sneaky is waaay harder than being buried alive by a rogue coven.
Anyway, I took a similar approach to some of my House vids, picking a theme (in this case, the journey of the witnesses) and doing a season overviewish mood piece to an instrumental. The show is absolutely gorgeous, so it lends itself well to that kind of thing.

No big thinky thoughts here. The commercial just reminded me of the movie, and I liked the idea of playing around with syncing the sound effects. I added a bit of the Lou Reed original to smooth out the opening and ending of the audio.
Honestly the hardest part was hiding Sly Stallone's constant scowl, which didn't fit the tone of the vid. I think the closest he ever got to a smile in the movie was kind of an amused grimace.
