This isn't the con report you're looking for
Back home and on 7ish hours of sleep, I can finally think again and start to process everything that happened in the last week. I returned to a very busy workday and then orientation tonight at my son's school (he starts first grade on Thursday), but I'm still planning to post a con report and vid recs later today if at all possible.
Short synopsis: Even with the travel snags, it was one of the best weekends of my life, largely because everyone I saw at the con, without exception, was friendly and warm and engaging. I kind of want to hug the whole world right now.
Also, the vids were consistently fun and enjoyable, with great variety. Really had something for everyone. All of the panels I attended were informative and thought-provoking way beyond my expectations - and I had high expectations - and I heard similar things about the panels I missed.
