Drops of Blue CD Release Party THIS FRIDAY!!!
Hello Everyone,
Drops of Blue (our January Final Fridays musical act), is releasing their new EP, Seven Stories Tall, with a show this friday night at the Elbo Room at 2871 N. Lincoln Ave. The show features Julie Moffitt, Keith and the Complications, and of course Drops of Blue.
Drops of Blue is my former band (we were called This Side Up when I played with them), and this release also marks my first published songwriting credit. If you're interested in hearing it, I have an advanced copy down in the batcave (lower level museum space)
Drops of Blue will also be playing with a full band, which is rare. They usually perform with just a guitarist and a singer. Admission to the concert is $6, and the first 30 guests who arrive will get a free copy of the new cd, so if you have no plans for friday night, come check out a great show!
