I will now be screening comments all the time due to some anonymous rudeness. Fucking cowardly if you ask me. I'm considering making my journal friends only; but seeing as I wouldn't know some of you lovely folk if it had always been that way I'm conflicted

Most of the anonymous rudeness isn't even on very personal posts. Small minds...smaller genitals.

Yeah. i agree with the person above. I believe lj has a feature that'll let you go back into your history and effectively make all your posts friends only.

That way, anonymous scaredy dickhead can't post since your journal is friends only. Eventually, I bet this person will get tired of not being able to post shit, so they'll fuck off. I've kept mine friends only for the past two years or so.

Do you have IP logging turned on for comments? That could help you figure out who the douchebag is.

Hm. If it's happening a lot, it sounds like one person is "after" you for some reason.

This is one of the reasons people go "Friends Only", so I understand. It must be terrible to always dread seeing a rude comment in your journal. It would make me sad.
